I know we’re getting close … getting close

It would seem as if everytime I blog as of late, it’s turned to a venting session or something catastrophic. Sadly, this post isn’t the exception. It’s been a rough year for me. I know, I’ve stated that within numerous posts and still, with a month and half to go, the ’08 year isn’t quite through with me yet.It seems as if almost two years ago exactly (well minus two weeks or so) that I’m going through the same thing. I suppose that’s why I blog. It’s curious to see the blog post title in which I posted before, and as I’m going through the same situation, I think the title fits perfectly.“Even though I’ve come so far,  I know I’ve got so far to go and any day now I’ll explode”~ Rise AgainstI really do feel as if I’ll explode. It’s not a matter of years, months, days, hours or minutes but mere seconds. It’s amazing the amount of …

I’ll be a Podcasting Man

Ok, so I said previously that I was going to make it all complicated, post regular postings below, only headlines up top. However, I changed my mind. I would really like to start writing more, but I just don’t see it happening, but don’t fret. It’s for good reason!I’ve been doing my homework, I’ve purchased all of the necessary hardware and so my next project will be that of a podcast! I figure if Jerry Seinfield can have a show about nothing, why can’t I? Ok ok, so it won’t be all completly about nothing. Over the course of time, I’ll start to have segments and such, but until then. Stay tuned.Exciting times are ahead!

Old and busted; New Hotness.

Have you noticed the new site? I spent a whopping hour online scouring for a better, “busier” template, and I think it suites me just fine. I spent another 10 hours customizing it. /grumble. You’ll notice a few main sections, all of which I wanted to point out before going any further.Headlines – Basically the eye catcher as you enter the site. I’ll be posting blog worthy events and well, headlines here. For example, if you came by the last few days, you would have noticed I blogged about me and my pops fishing trip …. that’s it’s own blog worthy, so …. I’ll be publishing it there. So, the headline section is where only eye catching stuff will go and here is the IMPORTANT part. Not all blogs will be posted to the headline/featured part of the site. Take alook BELOW the categories section to see the rest of the “normal blogs”. I know, confusing eh?Featured – This section …

Me, Pops and a few fish.

A year or two ago me and my Pops came up with this brilliant idea. A yearly camping trip. I love to camp, I love to fish, and I love the outdoors so this to me was a no brainer. I’m in. We came up with this idea a few years ago, but this was our first time actually doing it. The first year we skipped due to prior obligations and the next year we skipped due to a family situation. In short, something kept coming up. This year however was different. When I was a kid, me and my father spent a week out in the boonies, a place called Eagles Nest located in Northern New Mexico. Alot of great memories were formed, and going back to the old campsite of my youth was rather nostalgic. It was the first trip we went on in which we actually caught quite a bit of fish, it was my first experience seeing …

So this post almost didn’t happen. You coming to a website that existed, almost didn’t happen. Today I received an email stating my credit card number on file was incorrect and GoDaddy would delete my account. Six years worth of data. All of it …. gone. If that were to have happened I doubt I would have renewed ozweegoville.com. I probably would have ignored any sort of online blog, and I probably wouldn’t have had too many regrets. So why am I here posting?Because, the Journey Continues.Left, right,up,down, side to side, that’s my life. In doing so, I continue to document it as if my life were an open book. But for how long that’ll last for, I have no clue.Peace.

I’m a no directions, no napkin kind of guy. I just wanted to clear the air and let it be known.Anyways …. Man.Sometimes I just have to scratch my head and ask myself, “Where has the time gone?”. It must be true. My sister and my mom tell me time after time that the older you get, the faster life flies. In what seems to be the entire year, I have no clue where it went. Ask me today to tell you what’s happened, I may end up needing to get back to you …. So this past week me and Kristy went to the 3 Doors Down concert at Red Rocks. I have to say, it was the best concert I’ve been to up to date, and by far one of the coolest birthday gifts I’ve received. I suppose that’s not saying much seeing as I’ve only been to a handful of concerts and they are one of …

It’s been a while. I’d love to sit here and say that the reasons are for just and worthy causes but I think it amounts to lack of time and lazyness. Perhaps a mixture of both, perhaps even neither. So much has been happening since I last wrote, I’m not even sure where to begin. So, I figure I’ll start with my parents trip to The Mile High City. I think/hope we all had a good time. I introduced all 4 puppies to dog parks where. That was interesting to say the least. Me and my pops went to the mountains and the ladies did a ton of shopping. The Olympics were on, and as usual, our eyes and ears were glued to the television. I was able to show my parents around town for the first time, and I think they finally got a peek at the big city life. Working downtown has it’s pros and cons, however, I …

Boy oh boy.Today was a pretty great day. I got to fly a kite. I’ve been wanting to do so for a while but hadn’t taken the time to do so. It’s amazing how when you force yourself to do something, how rewarding it’d be. I haven’t flown a kite in a couple years but I was a bit hesitant.A real quick trip down memory lane.My buddies up north flew some kites a year or so ago. After keeping the kites in the air for quite some time, we got bored and hitched two of them together. We got one kite going, then tied another kite to it. Pretty awesome It got me doing searches on kites and stunt kites. Power kiting … ect … tons of funny and crazy youtube videos out there.Whew. It’s hot in here.My place is feeling pretty cozy. Temperature reads 84 degrees, but I know better. It’s pushing 100. It has to be.I’m …
