April 2011

In the face of change. Thats when she turned to me and said I’m not sure anymore.

If you’re here, then chances are good you saw the entrance video. Hopefully you did. I figured I’d put it front and center given it’s gotten me through some rough times.

I have alot on my mind so this may be a hit or miss type blog, but frankly my dear. I don’t give a damn.

The nuggets right now are in their elimination game and they are playing great, but this game is going to go to the wire.

Also, The last time I posted a blog I made a reference that I was going swimming. What I meant by that was my start of p90x. It’s been 6 weeks, and I’ve lost 20 pounds. I went from a size 38, to a size 34 with no smaller belt loops left. It’s a great feeling, but alas I’m still single. Apparently the ladies aren’t into 5’10 190 pound succesful dudes. It’s funny what demographic of women want. Craigslist ladies want a guy with good credit, a car, a job and their own place. Everywhere else on the planet the ladies want their cake and eat it too. I think Green Day was right, nice guys do finish last.  We’ll see though, I go through these phases and right now I feel I’m somewhere in the middle. I want a relationship but on the other hand it’s pretty nice being a bachelor.

Just me and my little lady Bella.

She’s been great for me though. I love coming home to her, I love seeing her tail wagging when I get home so excited to see me. I love seeing her run around at the dog park. I love seeing her ears stand up when she’s looking into the wind. I love just about everything about her. Although her shedding and peeing on the carpet at times I could do without, but given the whole package. I love her to pieces.

I hate my condo, but I love my condo. When I close the door and am inside, it’s so awesome and it’s such a great investment. However, when I go outside, and realize I live in the ghetto, I hate it. I have every square inch of it. I’m going to give it another year or two I think, and then really start to get rid of it. In the meantime though, I wanted to get comfy seeing as I do figure I’ll be here for a while longer. I mounted my tv on the wall, and put all the cables and equipment on the otherside of the wall. I bought 3 reclining theatre styled seats and a pretty nice area rug, and I gotta say, it’s changed completly my living room around. Head over to my flickr account to take a peek.

My registration for E3 is finally complete, which means that I’m going to California in the Summer. I’ts not vacation or California that excites me, it’s that our hotel is damn close to the ocean. I can’t wait to cross #1 off my bucket list. I can die a happy man once I do that. It’s something that I’ve wanted to do now for a while, and to know that the dominoes are in place to fall in June has me pretty giddy.

Work is going great. I absolutley love my job. Not for the obvious reasons(getting fed lunch 3 times a week, the free snacks, the wii/arcade/foosball/ping pong tables, or the open vacation time) but because it really is a great place to work. I had a buddy that I was able to at least get his resume on my bosses desk, and unfortunatly he didn’t get the job, but it made me realize just how lucky I was to obtain it. Over his whole body of work, both personality and experience he deserved it moreso than me, but life is funny that way. Of course, by funny, I mean shitty.

So what else is new with me …. I really don’t know but I’ll be sure to keep you all updated if anything huge happens.

Peace, I’m outta here.
