Good Times.

I don’t even know where to start. It’s been one great day, and now that I’m settling down for the night, I can only imagine it’ll be getting better.

You see I’m actually about 20 miles in the middle of nowhere, from the rooftop of dolly, the sky is beautiful. A black canvas with specks of white, all glittering. A site not normally seen from my apartment, let alone the city. I suppose that’s why I’m out here. So much beauty. Peace. Quiet. Ok, not as quiet as one would think. The trees are rustling a bit, every other minute it sounds like twigs breaking in the forest, only to cause me to stop breathing and shine my spotlight in the area. Of course it’s nothing but my imagination. It’s the silence. I’m not used of it. Its very soothing and relaxing but when it gets to be too quiet my mind starts to wander. Both positive and negative.

I’m ok with that though.

That’s one of the reasons I decided to escape the city actually. Just to sit and think. I need to sit and think. Alot’s been happening … emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally, just everything really. Life. I wanted to blog too. I haven’t had a chance to blog in a while and although I’ll keep it short, I figured now’s a good a time as any. Before I move to my tent, and I settle in for the night.

The night …. It’s pitch black out. You can see lights off in the distance, but for the most part, the only light I see is that of my screen, and the stars.

What a rush! What a ride …..

It’s been one great ride thus far,  life that is.

G’Night.

**EDIT**
So it’s Monday, and I forgot I wrote a little something …. Seeing as I’m writing in the blog, I made it home just fine ;) I did hear some sniffing in the middle of the night around my tent, and then some clicks of toenails on the hood of my car, but after an unlock with the keyless entry(aka loud horns and beeps, lights flashing) it skedaddled.

Oh, and here is a short snippet of one of the 3 trails I ran that day. I have 1 more night footage. More to come.

You’ve been having a great time with Dolly I see. Looks like loads of fun. Talk about an adrelaline rush! Ack! after seeing some of the video, it feels like you’re going super fast and that point with the tree in the middle of the trail, whew! I think I would have pissed my pants if I was in the car with you.

Hehe. Jen, I don’t go too fast. Probably 10mph tops, ok, maybe a little faster. However this video doesn’t show it because I intentionally sped it up ;)

I have been having lots of fun!

Also, I wanted to extend my thoughts and prayers for you and yours with your kiddo. I’ll see if I can get to your blog and post, but in case I don’t get the chance … hopefully you’ll read this.
