Lets play some crazy poker.

I apologize up front for my long delays in between postings, however, sometimes a break is needed, other times it’s best to use discretion. I only say that, because the last few weeks it seems like bloggers have come under attack as somewhat of a psychotic group. A group that when the things turn sour or the hint of negativity in ones life, they blog about it. This is true. I’m sure I’ve over stepped my boundaries with people in the past. I’m sure I’ve had my fair share of missteps that should never be posted to the intertubes, but all in all I think Ive done a rather decent job at keeping my private life private, and yet portraying my personal side.

So what’s new with me you ask? Alot of things really … Stress. Lots of stress. Drama, even more drama. Chaos, hectic, awesome, punch to the gut, incredible, amazing, crappy, happy, sad, fun, laughs, sorrow are all words I could describe how life has been treating me as of late. It’s really an incredible roller coaster to be on. Going from one minute of being incredibly happy, and the net, incredibly sad. I suppose saying goodbye to a love one will do that to you. I’m just so tired, and so recharged all in the same go around, that it makes for a very unpredictable situation to be involved with.

So what’s new with me ….

I finally got the lights on Dolly to work, and I gotta say, wow. It makes her look that much meanier, a better demension of toughness, and of course they look stellar.

I bought a new laptop. I bought a really cheap refurbished mac. I booted it up, logged in, shut it down, and took it apart to install the 2gb of ram. I have to admit I’m very impressed with the mac. My boss has always sworn by it, but I never was really a believer. I’m still not fully convinced that it’ll be as operational as my Ubuntu box at work, but so far, it’s making a ton of headway to proving me otherwise. Some weird quirks but all in all, I like it. I was a bit concerned, given I bought the cheapest mac, it was only 799$ + 50$ for the ram, but I realized I didn’t need a smoking fast computer, nor did I need anything absurd. So far, I ‘ve watched a ton of movies, surfed the web, programmed,  and did a number of other things and she’s held up fairly well. The box that it came in was plain and boring, but it was normally a thousand dollar laptop, but because I bought it manufactured it actually looks brad spankin new.  I’m very happy with my new purchase. And thanks to uncle sam for the rebate check, It wouldn’t have been possible without your help ;)

There is so much I want to say, what I wish I could say, but my blog, isn’t appropriate for a blog. Grrrr, I’m rambling now,and super sleepy.

Night All,

Oooh yay, playing with computer guts. My hubby has been doing that with the comp his bro-in-law made him. It still hiccups (BSoD) at times, but it’s a monster of a machine.
