One of those days.
I’m convinced then when dark skies and grey days come, that a little goblin creeps into my conscience. Once inside he replaces all of my best made plans with “No, your not doing shit today, and if you stay in your skivvies all day that’s ok too. While your sitting there being a lazy bastard, go ahead and sleep in, noon, one, two oclock?”.
I had a lot of things I would have liked to accomplish today, but no go. Haircut, clean, contacts, brakes … nope. Today was just one of those days.
A good day, but one of those days ….
Nothing got done. I cleared my mind of alot of issues. I laughed alot today.
I only got out of my skivvies and into real clothes for lunch, only to come back to a nice hot shower and back to my skivvies.
Today was a good day …. just one of those days.

I have that same goblin visiting me. He shows up on Friday morning and gently strokes my brain, telling me its going to be okay, and that Sundays are for not taking showers and going outside, except to buy groceries and make yummy food. He’s my best friend.
That goblin is my pet every morning. I lounge in jammies until the hubby gets home for lunch. I think it makes me appreciate the showers even more.
Yesterday was one of those days too, Bry did the 24 hour thing again and I snuggled with John on the couch while Bry slept the shift away. We also snoozed and then later lounged in sweats with huge mugs of hot cocoa. Yes, with real mini marshmallows. Mmm.
Hot Cocoa! Yum! I may need to get make a visit to the supermarket for some!
