Ok, so the status is near complete. I have yet to open the other sections becuase they are still works in progress. I like the fact that this website up to now is fully customizable. So yes, things are going through very smoothly. I often wonder how long it will take me before I do everything here that I want to do. I need to finish my forums, I also want to do a whole "picture of the day" type thing as well. Upload all of my DirectX9 Projects and also try to get it to where I can upload hopefully on a daily basis a new tutorial. I know I know, I’ve been saying that for quite some time now it’s just I havn’t gotten around to it. Today however was productive. I did do everything I intended on. Getting my statistic functions to work. Everything on the right hand side is done through function call and are completly customizable. Same thing goes for this journal. Comments, templates and all. SHIBBY! Next I will have a 3 ALPHANUMERIC ID that would be needed to enter OzweegoVille. I’m going to have a "guest" feature where one could log in but not gain access to the journal, message board and access to my newsletter. I think I’m over everything and everyone and could honestly care less who reads this. Perhaps it would inspire others to post/make a journal. My goal, and yes it’s a goal, I am looking for a web provider to actually obtain rights to www.ozweegoville.com. Have my own email address at theMayor@ozweegoville.com. How SHIBBY would that be? I’m getting chills just thinking about it!

So I talked to my parents today. They are going to go see a concert performed by Shania Twain. That is really weird to hear. My parents, concert? Same sentence? I was totally bummed to find out Offspring will not be in Denver but will be in Lubbock? Lubbock .. I wish I could go and see them but I suppose that’s life. Yea, that’s life of course. I wonder if I will ever get to see the Offspring in concert? I’m pretty sure if they did come I’d take off work to make it happen.

So what else. Oh yes, my video card! I ordered it today. I’m so excited. I can’t wait until it comes in! I just hope that it works like a charm. My ram is still on it’s way as well. I still have that 256mb loaner. I just can’t wait. I’m very hard pressed to find anything in MY own life that I’ve put together from scratch. Months in the making and how patient I’m being. I could have easily gone about this and be done by buying cheaper, less quality/performance parts but I’ve done this since end of January. 3 months. I’ve seen this project through and it’s coming together that I feel a real sense of accomplishment. I hope my life pans out like this. 12 years in highschool, another 2-3 in highschool while working full time. It should come together but we’ll see. Obviously I don’t know what to do next. I think that most of all is what makes me nervous. At least with my computer I know what I need to do. I know I need to get my video card, install it. Wait for my ram and install it and then my monitor. Then that’s it, I’m through. With life it’s a little diffrent. Ok, actually alot diffrent. Grrrr, I just wish women, careers, schooling, just life in general was a computer. That way I could understand it. Comprehend it to it’s fulliest potential. Actually know the real meaning behind it. I know when I click the start button on my task bar it has to send a WM_MOUSEDOWN message to WndProc() to process the stack. On the flip side I couldn’t initiate a conversation with the opposite sex for the life of me, get promoted at the office nor could I imagine what I will be doing tommorow.

Hmmm .. ok. So as so often say, this journal has served it’s person. It’s about that time. BedTime. It’s midnight and yet I’m wired. I need to go to bed, it’s the right thing to do. Besides I have a chicken sandwhich from mcdonalds waiting for me in the fridge! Well I think that will do. "That’ll do donkey, that’ll do"~Shrek.

This is just a journal tester ..

So yea .. been listening to him alot. He cracks me up. Obviously he’s not somebody to look up to, romodel or even follow but he does speak the truth in SOME things he says. One song he sings he talks about how the government would send out 18-20yrs old out before they even sent him to war and he’s 28. TRUE. He talks about marlyn manson was blamed for Columbine. I can’t even believe people put the blame on music or video games. I suppose I’m somewhat partial to that subject becuase I am going into the field of game design of course. Anywho .. I think he’s pretty funny though, just as long as you’ve got a good sense of humor. His music is best listened to with all the "windows down and your system up!" HA.

Anywho .. It’s 1:30 and not quite sure what I’ll be doing next. I think bed would be good .. seeing as I’ve got to be to school in about 6 or 7 hours .. -sighs- oh well .. so I should be going now though. Thinking … I’ll repeat that .. thinking that I may be mixing up ozweegoville again who knows … not alot from me today .. just tyring to document my life day in and day out. Ok, So my eyes are so incredibly heavy right now. If I don’t make sense then suppose that could be why? Or is it that I’ve worn my contacts for 24hrs straight? Hmmmm .. intresting.

5 minutes later …

Ok, so my eyes arn’t so heavy any more. I put on my glasses. 5 minutes have past, hince the "5 minutes later". So not alot going through my brain right now. Lol, rather boring, no synaptic activities nor any electrical charges. Just me and the keyboard. Not quite sure what to type. For somereason my fanbase keeps growing. Not quite sure why either. I don’t see why people would tell their friends about OzweegoVille. It’s not like alot is happening here. Just the same ole same ole. Perhaps they come to see my engineering marvel? Who knows … –drops jaw– you don’t know what my engineering marvel is do you? Hmmm ….. let me explain. My journal of course. My algorithm is using a flatfile. I’ve noticed it is just as quick as a MySQL query. Perhaps it’s not that big … but check out these statitics regarding my journal … these are of course courtesy of OpenOffice v1.1.1(equivalent to Microsoft Word) except it’s open source. SHIBBY!

Before I do, was listening to some more music off launch@yahoo.com and actually heard a song by Keith Urban(country singer). DOH Did I just say country? I did fanclub … I dont’ know how this happen, kind of glad it did. He’s got a pretty good song called "You’ll think of me" Go listen to it. You’ll be glad you did ..

Ok, so a new lesson for the citezens of OzweegoVille. 2 products, same price. One is generic and you get about 3 more months worth of the supply over the good stuff which doesn’t last quite as long. Go with the good stuff. You see, I used to buy the mach 3 razor blades. I was at work today and was asked multiple times, kc you growing a little beard? Nope, just lazy … and of course out of razor blades. So I decieded to go a little grocery shopping and so happened to run into some razors. Generic, or good stuff. Same price, but it was quantity that was going through my head at that time. I know .. typical guy. So I’m like hey, this has to be SHIBBY especally seeing as its regular price as the other ones however you get more. Ok, rock on .. I can live with that. Well I can’t live with razor burn, dull blades and the fact it lasts about 2 days tops with the present of hair of course. It’ll last quite some time if your not shaving. God forbid you buy razors and never use them to shave with!

Moral of the story:
Never citezens buy generic over quality. DUH, seems like a no brainer but you’d be surprise. You’d be lieing to yourself if you’ve said you’ve never done this before!

LOL, oh well that’s life. This is pathetic when I have to resort to razor blades for my entries .. hehe. Anywho .. I bought a video game the other day. I havn’t played it yet. I’m still missing 3 things. Monitor, video card and the rest of my ram! Debating as to what I want to get with this paycheck. Grrr .. We’ll see. Tax returns would be nice right about now … hehe. I’m just impatient. Can you tell? So I should be going, getting tired. I thought I’d share that experience.

Today I also had a blast beileve it or not. I woke up at like eight oclock and went to the friday video game club that’s been going on for like the past year or so. I never dragged myself out of bed bt I may actually start trying to go to it. It was alot of fun and of course I kicked mucho grande butt. It doesn’t hurt the situation
