I apologise fanclub for this being such a long time since I’ve last posted. Alot has happened in the last few weeks. Basically I’ve done alot of revamping. Including this journal. Completly customizable templates and comments system so that way all I have to do is include
include(‘/home/cmerrill/public_html/jV2/index.php’);
and -POOF- Whola! It works! -does happy dance- On top of that I’ve it set up using a flatfile database system that I’ve designed using the explode() function. We’ll see how the database Holds up with a huge file however in dummy trials it help up perfectly fine. Anywho … the journal can be found in the downloads section just as soon as I load it up. Really really neat features it has!
Lets see … as for work. Work = bleh. Why you ask? Basically they are making me move to a diffrent department which involves more work. Supposidly only 200 agents were picked out of the entire company to do these duties and I hear the training they are putting us through is about $3,000 a head. However this is just all hearsay. I’m so tired of my job but the odd thing is if they were to offer me a job in QA I’d love my job. We’ll just have to see about that. I dont’ know how much longer I can hold out until my brain explodes and my teeth are finally gritted down to the bare minimum.
Life is definetly not rough right now. I’m watching X-Men 2 before I go to work. Yea .. I know. It’s my day off but they have this really nasty word they use. It’s called mandatory overtime. Yuck. I hate it. I’m so tired of just being pushed around… What can I do about it though right? I badly want and need another job that makes me happy. It’d be the missing piece in the happy circle of mine.
So what’s next for me? I’m not quite sure. I think I will sit here. Sipping on my beloved diet coke. Watching my movie and hoping the next 4 hours of overtime will go over smoothly and quickly for that matter. We’ll see. As for cool things that I’ve purchased over the last few weeks. Let see … a total of 3 new dvd’s. X-Men 2, Bruce Almighty and Road Trip. All are decent movies. Obviously some better then others. I really do enjoy bruce and X-2. What else what else … oh yes. I worked enough overtime the past 4 weeks and i purchased a pretty nice jacket made by Columbia. I’ve never even heard of the company but they are supposidly the Microsoft of jackets. So I did some research as to what makes these jackets so warm and cozy for half the size of a conventional jacket. GorTex. It’s a material that struck a nerve as soon as it was told to me what it was made out of. My father has a gortex jacket that the military issued to him. Thin as paper yet warm as a parka. Water and wind resistant too. As for the jacket my father would only let me wear it once or twice because he said if he lost it, it was worth about 500$ dollars. Obviously I only paid a fraction of that cost however it is as warm as can be! I really like it and I got it 50% off. I really like it and it was really cheap too. Anywho … I think that’s it. I soooo do not want to go to work but maybe I’ll post some more either today or tommorow? We’ll see … oh yea .. as for the users that registered. Don’t fret. I havn’t yet implemented the user login which is coming shortly … so don’t worry about not having a login quite yet. But soon … very soon!
